Reach Great Heights
The TIA is a two-part event consisting of a national and an international final. Winners of the national finals qualify to compete for the grand prize at the International Grand Final, held this year in one of the most fascinating and inspiring cities: Shanghai.National Final
At the National Final, participants compete against other design students from their respective countries. A national jury will select the showpiece they consider the best interpretation of the theme “Dragons and Butterflies”.
The International Final
The International Final of the fifth Triumph Inspiration Award will take place in Shanghai on 19th October, 2012.
The national winners from 31 participating countries from all over the world compete against each other in Shanghai during a fashion show and event attended by world known celebrities, international press and Triumph trade partners. The students are judged by a renowned jury of fashion, design and media experts.
The TIA International Final will be celebrated in the Minsheng Art Museum, a spectacular and memorable location in Shanghai, which is located in the Redtown International Art Community, an upcoming design area, and known for modern and contemporary art.
The winner of the TIA 2012 will follow Boglàrka Bòdis’ footsteps, the Hungarian winner of the Triumph Inspiration Award 2011. Her extraordinary creative design “Les Fleurs du Mal” was commercialized into a mini-collection and will be available in autumn 2012 in selected wholesale and Triumph stores worldwide.
