TIA International Winner 2011
The finale of this year’s Triumph inspiration award took place last night during the Berlin fashion week. In a festive fashion show with 500 invited international guests from the business, fashion and society industries at the E-Werk in Berlin, 37 students from just as many countries presented their lingerie creations with which they had already won the state-wide contests. All designs have been inspired by the design theme “125 years of celebrating women”, chosen for the occasion of the 125th anniversary Triumph is celebrating this year.

The Award was hosted by the famous British TV and radio presenter George Lamb and judged by a top-class panel: model and actress Lily Cole, the star photographer Ellen von Unwerth, the model and photographer as well as face and ambassador of Triumph Essence Helena Christensen, the international singer Coco Lee, the owner and CEO of the Premium Exhibition GmbH Anita Tillmann and Jos Berry who is Brand Executive Director for Triumph.

At 10pm and after the preview of Triumph’s Spring / Summer 2012 Shape Sensation collection the big moment had finally arrived: The jury returned from their secret ballot and George Lamb announced the winner of the TIA 2011.

The winners of the TIA 2011 are:
1st place: Boglárka Bódis from Hungary with the design Les Fleurs du Mal
2nd place: Nurten Yüksel from Turkey with the creation Hezârfen
3rd place: Diana Bobina from Romania with the creation AVA 1236

Vote online for the most inspiring design and win a VIP-trip to the grand final in Milan on September 23rd 2009!

With young designers out of 28 countries, this will be THE event to attend for lingerie lovers from all over the world. In the amazing location of the design museum La Triennale up-coming lingerie designers from around the world will present their very best piece dedicated to this year’s design motto “ICONS”. At the final an international jury of movie, fashion, and art icons will decide who will be the winner of the Triumph Inspiration Award ’09.  But before, everyone around the world can vote for his and her favourite design on   www.triumphinspirationaward.com   and win a trip to the grand final in Milan including flight and accommodation.

For the lingerie designs the winning of the audience voting will count as an extra vote of the international jury at the final in Milan.

The online voting runs from August 31st, 9 AM to September 13th, 12 AM.

Fitting bras come to life
Did you know that 70% of women still wear the wrong size bra? Triumph is dedicated to decreasing this and working exclusively with Debenhams, has created a fun and novel way to do this!

Triumph has been touring the UK and Ireland with a team of dancers and models called ‘The Lady Greys’, communicating the fitting experience in a fun and imaginative way LIVE in Debenhams high street windows. This has proven to be a real inspiration for many women who did not have the confidence to get measured before, with an 100% increase in fittings appointments! The show truly engaged the audience, showing what a good and a bad fit bra looks like. The performances showcased key Triumph styles, providing the ultimate lingerie solutions for your wardrobe, all this with a bit of comedy thrown in for good measure!

Louise recently set Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles’ heart racing live on air when her image, modelling sexy Triumph lingerie, was spotted by Chris, fronting a store on London’s Oxford Street.

She’s now set to raise his blood pressure again when she unveils Triumph’s latest summer collection on billboards up and down the country. Louise says, 'I had a mature figure from an early age and now I’m a 32D. I appreciate the importance of a good bra. When Triumph asked me to be the ambassador for the brand I was delighted. It’s important for girls like me to wear a bra that fits properly'.

Louise has enchanted audiences as a singer, enjoying over 14 top 20 hits with Eternal and also as a highly successful solo artist. She became a firm favourite with FHM readers, with them voting her Best Female of the Decade, a fact she still blushes at when people mention it to her.

More recently she has been presenting The Clothes Show, and was very happy to be invited on to the judging panel for the UK final of the Triumph Inspiration Award, a fashion design contest for students worldwide, with the grand final in Beijing on July 31st.

The billboard campaign featuring Louise in key Triumph styles launches in May. Throughout the rest of the year, Louise will also be seen in a new series of Triumph advertisements in top fashion magazines and online.

A Fashion Inspiration

Triumph is thrilled to be partnering with London based and award-winning fashion label Felder Felder for its A/W 2010 show at London Fashion Week. With a breathbreaking fashion show on February, 19th the designer´s duo revealed their stunning new collection called ‘In the valley of the shadow’. Felder Felder incorporated Triumph shaping lingerie - bras, briefs, bodies - into their new AW collection beautifully customized with leather ruffles, tiny crystals for an ‘icicle’ effect – making them a memoriable part of their collection.
