TRIUMPH CELEBRATES 125 YEARS OF TAILORING FEMALE SHAPE!
Back in 1886, had merchant Michael Braun and corset maker Johann Gottfried Spiesshofer been told that the tiny corset factory they had just set up in southern Germany would one day become the world's leading supplier of lingerie and shapewear, they surely would have been astounded.

125 years on, the business that started out with just six sewing machines and six employees, has developed into a unique global player, with 37,500 employees working in over 120 countries.

Triumph Creating the Buzz in Comfort
27th Oct 2009 - Intimate apparel brand Triumph introduced its latest edition called the Triumph Fusion range. Aimed at looking good and feeling better, the new range offers comfort with seamless bonding technology where different parts of the bra can be joined without sewing. "The new range is about rediscovering intimate apparel," said Body Fashion Malaysia head of brand management Evelyn Foo. The media was invited to this personalised session to allow them to experience the products for themselves.

Triumph Inspiration Award '09 Milan
23rd Sep 2009 - Hilary Swank, Franca Sozzani, Qi Qi, Giovanni Gastel, Witchy Hassan and Jan Rosenberg decided James Nolan from Central Saint Martins School of Fashion & Textiles, Great Britain with the icon – Odette and Odile as the winner for Triumph Inspiration Award 2009.

 

Milan, September 23rd, on the opening night of Milan Fashion Week, 28 fashion design students from 28 countries around the world represented their own exciting lingerie creation at the grand final of the Triumph Inspiration Award 2009 at a fabulous catwalk show in the famous design museum La Triennale.

 

Second prize went to Katinka Poole, student from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) from Australia with her design based on the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Mirage as her ICON; while third prize went to Shani Elkin, student from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design with selecting Jerusalem as her ICON.

From imagination to reality... Midori Matsuo's Creation is here!
1st Sep 2009 - Last year’s winning piece, Under Skin by Midori Matsuo of Japan will be available worldwide starting the first week of October as a limited edition. Her concept: “When women feel like crying, they tend to hide it. What this kind of feeling and lingerie have in common is that both only reveal the ‘normal person’ in a woman’s life. I designed my lingerie to look like the face of a crying woman to illustrate this commonality.”
