Triumph International today announces the names of an internationally renowned jury for The Triumph Inspiration Award 2010. Helena Christensen, Rankin, Matthew Williamson, Karen Mok, Hilary Riva, Chair of British Fashion Council (BFC) Development Committee and Suzanne McKenna, Head of Global Brand Management Triumph, will sit alongside each other to judge and determine the winner of the biggest international lingerie design contest.

On Thursday 16th September, 27 national winning showpieces created by student designers from across the globe will be showcased in an incredible fashion show in the hope of becoming the winner of the TIA 2010, but only the judges can decide!

About the judges:

Helena Christensen

With one of the most recognisable faces in fashion, Helena Christensen is internationally respected as a supermodel, photographer and Creative Director.  Having appeared as the lead in the 1990’s Triumph Lingerie Campaign, almost two decades later Helena partners with the brand again for the TIA 2010.

Rankin

Photographer, publisher and film director, Rankin established his reputation when he launched Dazed & Confused in 1991. From his iconic shot of Kylie lying naked, to the Queen smiling enigmatically, Rankin’s iconic, intimate portraiture style, and his mischievous eye have gained him a reputation as one of the world's leading photographers.

Matthew Williamson

Co-founder of the self-entitled luxury fashion house, Matthew Williamson's collections have continued to gather momentum, cementing his reputation as an internationally renowned designer and one of the UK’s leading designer talents. (Picture shot by Simon Proctor)

Hilary Riva

After a highly successful career of turning round and managing fashion retail businesses, Ms. Hilary Riva, OBE., took on the role of Chief Executive Officer of the British Fashion Council, from December 2005 until April 2009. She is widely credited with reviving the fortunes of the organisation and its events, promoting the interests of British fashion designers and London at home and internationally.

Karen Mok

Her unique style, chameleon looks, luscious hair and signature long legs have made her one of Asia's most sought-after celebrities. Internationally recognized, the award-winning actress has appeared in nearly 40 films and has been honoured with a Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actress.  Mok is one of Asia’s most dynamic performers both on screen and on stage.  She was the first Asian star to take the lead role in the 10th Anniversary Asian Tour of the Broadway musical RENT and the first female artist from Hong Kong to win the Taiwan Golden Melody Award.
