2007 Consolidated Results for Triumph International Increase in Sales and Growing Investments

In 2007, Triumph International Spiesshofer & Braun KG, Bad Zurzach (Triumph International) reported an increase in sales of 1.3 per cent, compared to the previous year. This corresponds to a volume of CHF 31.1 million. Total sales revenues amounted to CHF 2.47 billion, compared to CHF 2.44 billion in 2006. During the same period, the company increased its worldwide investments by CHF 10.4 million, to a total of CHF 127.3 million, investing mainly in the expansion of its own retail business, as well as logistic processes and acquisitions. Japan, Germany and Great Britain continue to be Triumph International's top selling markets. Particularly the Asian subsidiaries developed in a gratifying way in 2007.
Retail business clearly expanded
A distinctly positive development was registered for the expansion of Triumph International's network of own retail establishments: A total of 117 new retail stores were opened in 2007, 68 of which in Western countries and 49 in Asian markets. The network of Triumph Stores, including owned and operated, franchise and partner stores, now comprises of 1,620 branches. Triumph plans to expand the network of retail outlets by another 217 sales branches in 2008.
Additional investments planned
In 2007, Triumph International improved sales revenues mainly in its core business. Investments already increased in 2007 and will rise further in 2008, to ensure a dynamic development of turnover for the current year through innovative product and marketing strategies. The focus of all measures continues to be on the needs and desires of consumers worldwide.
