In my last blog I told you about Boglarka Bodis’, the winner of the TIA 2011, trip to Triumph’s birthplace, Heubach in Germany, and a fun-filled evening in Vienna. Let me tell you about the rest of her trip to the Brand Land in Vienna and how she experienced the full Triumph experience from the entire production process to the shopping trip in the factory outlet!
Boglárka Bódis, winner of TIA 2011, visited the birthplace of Triumph last week where she explored the past of corsetry and the company’s impressive 125 year history in the little town of Heubach and then went sightseeing in magical Vienna!
Boglárka arrived in Munich on Wednesday 7th September. She was picked up and taken to her hotel in Heubach, where Triumph International was born. After a good night’s sleep, she took part in an intense design meeting where she was able to work on prototypes for her commercial piece. About 20 commercialised ideas were further developed together with Boglarka – so much to choose from!
The finale of this year’s Triumph inspiration award took place last night during the Berlin fashion week. In a festive fashion show with 500 invited international guests from the business, fashion and society industries at the E-Werk in Berlin, 37 students from just as many countries presented their lingerie creations with which they had already won the state-wide contests.
And the judges are.....
The jury members evaluating this year’s creations are known for their extensive competence with respect to international style and design. In addition to the decision of the six jury members, the result of the online voting (Hong Kong) acts a seventh jury vote which all together determine the winner of the prestigious young talent award.
