A Fashion Inspiration

Triumph is thrilled to be collaborating with London based and award-winning fashion label Felder Felder for its A/W 2010 show at London Fashion Week. With a breathbreaking fashion show on February, 19th the designer´s duo revealed their stunning new collection called ‘In the valley of the shadow’. Felder Felder incorporated Triumph shaping lingerie - bras, briefs, bodies - into their new AW collection, which was beautifully customized with leather ruffles and tiny crystals for an ‘icicle’ effect – making them a memorable part of their collection.

Identical twins Daniela and Annette set up their label in 2006, making their debut at London Fashion Week with their spring/summer 2008 collection.  Included in their showpiece was the styling of some of their favourite pieces from Triumph’s AW 2010 collection to be unveiled on the catwalk on the 19th February 2010.

Triumph is excited to be collaborating with such gifted designers that share not only Triumph’s vision and love for detail, but also the brand’s firm belief in quality. Annette Felder said of the collaboration: “We were really attracted to this collaboration because it allowed us to get some real insights into the garments that are closest to the skin – Triumph has spent the past 124 years shaping the female form and has a true understanding of women and encourages them to be who they want to be.”

The group has a membership of 270 independent department store and specialist retailers operating 611 outlets across the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands.

AIS enables independent department stores and specialist retailers to profit from the level of buying power and services normally enjoyed by big high street chains – yet with no loss of their independence.

The design motto of this year´s TIA is ‘Shape Sensation’. The Triumph Inspiration Award 2010 invites students to create a lingerie sensation that makes a strong statement about shape. The Triumph Inspiration Award will be launching this Friday, 19th February 2010.

The Triumph Inspiration Award is a global design competition, which challenges students from all over the world to conceptualize and design a lingerie piece called “showpiece”. The Triumph Inspiration Award is divided into two stages: a national and an international final. First, the talented young creative’s have to compete at a national level. Their concepts and showpieces will be up against those of other students of their school and/or other prestigious design schools. It’s about coming up with simply the best concept with regard to the theme. The garment they design needs to inspire and convince the panel. Winning the national final will automatically qualify the student for the international final, where their inspirational creation will be presented to the international press and judged by a jury of internationally renowned experts from the fields of fashion, design and media. This final will be staged in an extraordinary atmosphere in September 2010 in London.

The AW09 Triumph collection is romantic and feminine providing the ultimate support, perfect fit and giving you the confidence to feel great and comfortable about your curves.  In essence Triumph provides lingerie solutions for all women, for all occasions.

Louise says, “I love fashion and all things beautiful so naturally I’ve always loved lingerie.  The Triumph collection offer the two main things every woman wants from their lingerie – cool and sexy designs coupled with comfort.  They understand how to make the most of a woman’s curves, I love the Daisy Desire collection – great for everyday wear but with a pretty finish”

Another Triumph for Hilary

Having already won two Oscars and being tipped for another with her latest role, Triumph were delighted to have Hilary Swank as one of the star judges at the final of the Triumph Inspiration Awards in Milan recently.

Hilary has since spoken about the particular interest that she took in judging the contest, and likening the designs to works of art rather than simply underwear, she has expressed her passion for fashion that made her the perfect judge for the contest.

Speaking to the Daily Mail’s Sunday supplement, You magazine, Hilary also gives an insight into her home life, her latest movie in which she plays Amelia Earhart, what she really thinks of some of the media, and much more besides.

Autumn 09 Advertising Campaign

Following on from the success of the previous ad campaign Triumph is thrilled to continue its successful relationship with Louise Redknapp into her 5th season. Louise continues to be an excellent UK ambassador for the brand - she represents real women with real curves – a perfect role model.

Combining comfort with a hint of city glamour the new ad campaign was shot in a modern apartment space – the ideal backdrop for the glamorous winter season.  All of the images shot by Paul Farrell showcase the glamour and sophistication of Triumph’s stunning new collection.

Images feature Louise in a selection of sets from Triumph’s D cup plus range. Key styles featured in the ad campaign include: Daisy Desire, Amourette, Fancy Desire and Revival Feelings.  Evoking feelings of nostalgia the collection features seductive shapes, soft textures and vintage colours.  Deep intense colours of petrol blue are off set by soft pinks and cappuccino.  Luxurious trimmings and finishes such as pearls, buttons, bows and ribbons bring a touch of opulent charm.
