TRIUMPH INTERNATIONAL on target for worldwide growth

The worldwide acting Group, TRIUMPH INTERNATIONAL, continued to strengthen its strong position in 2005. Compared to last year the annual turnover increased by 1.7 % (= CHF 41 Mill.) to CHF 2,43 bn although market conditions remained difficult. Triumph expects a growth in sales volume also for 2006 based on the strong worldwide position of the brands Triumph, Sloggi, Bee-Dees, Valisère and HOM. As in the previous year Japan, Germany and Great Britain showed the strongest turnover worldwide. The capital expenditure in 2005 amounted to CHF 57.5 Mill. As per 31st December 2005, TRIUMPH INTERNATIONAL employed 42.881 people worldwide (+ 441). TRIUMPH INTERNATIONAL continues to be one of the largest producers of underwear in the world.
