Water

We recognize the critical importance of water conservation and management in our operations and supply chain, as water is a vital resource.
Our water initiatives began in our own production centers by increasing employee awareness and preventing water leakage in all sites. Once we have a clearer baseline and targets on water, we are expected to have greater transparency.

We are dedicated to optimizing water consumption in our operations by implementing appropriate technologies and driving behavioral changes among our employees through awareness programs.

To enhance water resource utilization efficiency, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance to prevent water leakage.
  • Installing water-efficient fixtures to minimize water usage.
  • Recycling treated wastewater to create green areas surrounding our production centers.

Chemical management

To safeguard the health of our customers from hazardous chemicals, we have adopted a strict chemical management program to restrict the usage of harmful chemicals in our supply chain. We have implemented the Restricted Substances Policy and tested the garments for the presence of restricted substances. Further, we ensure our material and finished goods suppliers mandatorily abide by it and reduce the impact of chemicals in our value chain.

Our Restricted Substances List (RSL) outlines hazardous chemicals that must be limited below specified thresholds in finished textile products. The goal is to reduce or eliminate the use of these chemicals during the production of raw materials and finished goods. This approach also helps to prevent the release of harmful substances into wastewater, contributing to a safer and more sustainable production process.

OEKO-TEX®

To turn our commitment into action, Triumph adopted STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® in 1993. STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a globally recognized, independent testing and certification system for textile raw materials, intermediate and finished products, and accessory materials. It is one of the most trusted labels for textile safety, certifying that products have been rigorously tested for harmful substances.

Adopting STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® also ensures compliance with global regulations, including Annexes XVII and XIV of the REACH directives, CPSIA, and the ECHA-SVHC candidate list. Product safety remains one of our top priorities, and we place great importance on maintaining high product quality while safeguarding the well-being of our customers.
