Progress,
Targets
& Ambitions

We have established a detailed roadmap to ensure we are making progress each year towards our targets. We promise to communicate our progress regularly with our stakeholders. We look forward to keeping our stakeholders informed as we move forward on our sustainability journey.

Circularity

by ensuring that the majority of our products are designed with circular principles.

We will provide a comprehensive definition and meticulous guidelines for enhancing the circularity of products. Aligned with relevant regulations and frameworks, these guidelines cover specific criteria across all aspects of circularity, including materials, recyclability, and durability. Internal alignment and progress measurements are diligently implemented.

We will follow circular design principles and aim to continually incorporate circular products into our collections by 2028 and beyond. Based on these principles, a well-defined baseline and roadmap will be established. Additionally, the current situation will provide valuable insights into necessary actions.

We will consider circular models integral to the circular design principles. These models aim to extend the lifespan of products, enabling consumers to enjoy them for a longer duration or give preloved products a second lease of life, particularly focusing on the homeware category.

We will implement a system wherever the brand is present, enabling consumers to return products for environmentally friendly repurposing.

The Progress

We planted 3,799 trees as part of the Together We Grow campaign (2022–2024). In total we collected 3,988 kg of clothing through the Together We Grow program by July 2024 to promote circularity.

  • Further expand Together We Grow concept to more countries

The Ambitions

We will push circularity by 2030 by ensuring that the majority of our products are designed with circular principles.

Waste

by reducing waste to minimum.

Over time, we will continue to decrease the amount of waste generated within our operational spaces systematically. This involves implementing strategies and practices to minimize waste production, optimize resource use, and promote sustainability across various aspects of our business operations.

We will repurpose or recycle any leftover or unused materials generated during our operational processes for use in manufacturing or production activities.

We will significantly decrease the use of plastic materials in packaging. Aiming to minimize plastic waste, reduce reliance on non-renewable resources, and increase recyclability.

We will eliminate the practice of disposing of returned products as waste. Instead, they intend to find alternative methods for managing returned items, such as refurbishing, repurposing, recycling, or reselling them, in order to minimize waste.

The Progress

We developed sloggi mono-material packaging, replacing plastic windows with cellulose (fiber-based) alternatives, to hit the market in 2025.

We minimized virgin plastic use by introducing recycled nylon care labels and recycled tag pins.

The Targets

by 2025

  • Establish waste volume baseline
  • Establish packaging waste volume baseline

The Ambitions

We will tackle waste by 2030 by reducing waste.

Environmental impacts

by lowering our carbon footprint and overall impacts.

We will decrease our greenhouse gas emissions by 63% compared to the 2023 baseline year, aligning with the Paris Agreement aiming to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.

We will use materials that are designated as preferred. These preferred materials, as per Textile Exchange, typically meet specific criteria related to sustainability, such as being renewable, recyclable, biodegradable, non-toxic, or sourced responsibly.

We will achieve complete visibility and accountability across all stages of our supply chain. This objective entails implementing systems and processes to track and monitor the movement of goods, materials, and information from the initial sourcing of raw materials to the final delivery of products to customers.

We will disclose and communicate our commitment to ethical and sustainable procurement processes throughout our supply chain. This goal involves documenting and sharing the company’s policies, standards, and initiatives to promote responsible sourcing, fair labor practices, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility.

The Progress

We completed comprehensive scope 1, 2 & 3 GHG emission inventory with the 2023 baseline, laying the foundation for future emissions disclosure. We piloted product carbon footprint calculation across all product ranges.

We launched a Digital Product Passport pilot for 50 SKUs to improve product transparency.

We achieved 29% of new collections globally made with preferred materials such as organic, recycled, and Lenzing fibers in 2024.

We renewed our GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certifications for the third consecutive year.We started the collaboration with suppliers to assess wastewater management progress toward achieving ZDHC MRSL compliance.

The Targets

by 2025

  • Submit to Science-based Target Initiative (SBTi) Commitment
  • Expand the current supplier scorecard system with extensive sustainability evaluation
  • Commit to ZDHC to strengthen our chemical management efforts.

The Ambitions

We will reduce environmental impacts by 2035 by lowering our carbon footprint and overall impacts.

Human Rights & Working Conditions

by ensuring fair labor practices and safe working environments for everyone.

We will disclose and communicate our comprehensive strategy and action plan for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace and broader organizational culture. This objective involves outlining specific initiatives, policies, and practices aimed at fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, addressing systemic inequalities, promoting equal opportunities for all employees, and creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.

We will regularly review, revise, and publicly share our commitment, policies, and practices related to human rights and working conditions. This objective entails ongoing monitoring and improvement of policies and practices to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and international standards and to address emerging issues and stakeholder concerns related to human rights and working conditions.

The Ambitions

We will continuously engage with communities by fostering strong relationships with our communities.

Double Materiality
Assessment

We conduct and update our double materiality assessment when needed to identify and prioritize key sustainability topics within our company.

A materiality assessment evaluates which sustainability issues across Triumph’s upstream, operational, and downstream activities are most critical to disclose in our non-financial reporting. It focuses on two key dimensions:

  • The positive and negative impacts Triumph has on society and the environment.
  • The sustainability-related financial risks and opportunities Triumph faces as a business.

This type of assessment is now a regulatory requirement under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). We will update our double materiality assessment over time and share the results publicly.

Life Cycle
Assessments (LCAs)

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we plan to conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to measure the environmental impact of our products.

LCAs allow us to evaluate the entire life cycle of a product—from raw material extraction and manufacturing to use and end-of-life disposal—highlighting areas where we can reduce environmental impact.

This helps us identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions that drive positive change — our roadmap and commitment to adopting comprehensive LCA methods for evaluating the environmental footprint of our products.

Our roadmap for LCAs includes assessments to prioritize high-impact products such as bestsellers. We aim to integrate LCA findings into product design processes, ensuring sustainability is a core consideration when developing our products. By 2025, we will understand our products’ impact on carbon, waste, and water.
