Our

strategy

Fit the Future

At the heart of our Fit the Future sustainability strategy is a simple truth: everything we do impacts both the planet we depend on and the people who make our business possible. We recognize that our industry comes with significant environmental and social challenges, and we are committed to addressing them with honesty, curiosity, and responsibility. This strategy is our first 10-year sustainability strategy. Through Fit the Future, we are building a more resilient business with sustainability embedded in its model. By connecting our actions across planet, product, and people, we move closer to the future we want to help create, the one that works better for everyone.

Every day, we push ourselves to learn more, question more, and improve how we operate, from the materials we select to the way we design products and collaborate with partners. To guide this effort, we have built a clear roadmap with measurable targets that ensure steady progress year after year. And as we move forward, we remain committed to transparency, keeping our stakeholders informed on our achievements and the challenges still ahead.

  • By 2035, increase the share of renewable electricity in our own operations by 80% from 2023 baseline.

The Commitment

We are committed to reducing our climate impact by cutting greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, 2, and 3, and by accelerating the shift to renewable energy throughout our operations.

Pollution

We recognize that managing microplastics and chemicals is critical in our industry. Microplastics are an emerging issue. We will explore this area and investigate all possible ways to control microplastic release from garments. This will be a collaborative effort among our industry partners. We will continue to protect consumer health from hazardous chemicals by implementing a strict chemical management program that limits the use of harmful substances throughout our supply chain.

The Progress

  • ZDHC Signatory in July 2025 for safer chemicals.
  • 57% of our key component suppliers with wet processing covered by ZDHC, Bluesign, Step by OekoTex MRSL in 2025.
  • Bisphenol-free 2030 strategy introduced in 2025.

The Targets

  • By 2030, research microplastic use and release from key materials, identify sources and mitigation points, define measurable control parameters, align with international standards, and collaborate with industry for benchmarking.
  • By 2030, ensure 100% our Tier 1 and 2 strategic and core suppliers meet the recognized industry standards on chemical and wastewater management.
  • By 2030, ensure that 100% of Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier facilities are assessed for environmental impact using credible industry tools.

The Commitment

We are committed to tackling pollution with a science-led approach – by understanding microplastic emissions, ensuring chemical safety, and using industry best practice tools to monitor and improve environmental performance across our supply chain. emissions, increasing renewable energy use, and driving systemic change.

Resource use and circular economy

We are committed to reducing the impact of our products by adopting alternative fibers, including certified recycled and organic materials. We will follow circular design principles and incorporate circular models. These models aim to extend product lifespans, enhancing recyclability and repairability.

We are dedicated to implementing comprehensive waste management solutions throughout all aspects of our operations. Our approach emphasizes waste reduction, improved recycling efforts, and consistent practices across our facilities. Over time, we will systematically decrease the waste generated in our operations. This includes strategies to minimize waste, optimize resource use, and promote sustainability across our business. We also plan to significantly reduce plastic use in packaging to lessen plastic waste, decrease reliance on non-renewable resources, and enhance recyclability.

The Progress

  • 34% of our global collection made with preferred materials in 2025.
  • 20% of EU styles with Digital Product Passport in 2025.
  • Circular design principles playbook developed in 2025.

The Targets

  • By 2035, ensure that 100% of our products adhere to circular design principles compared to the 2023 baseline.
  • By 2030, 100% of Triumph packaging will follow at least one of the Packaging Guidelines.
  • Reduce the volume of waste produced in our production and distribution facilities.

The Commitment

We are committed to making circularity the foundation of our product and packaging systems, setting clear, measurable targets that reduce waste, increase recyclability, and extend product longevity to minimize our environmental footprint.

Own workforce

At Triumph, we believe that true sustainability goes beyond the products we create. It also involves creating and maintaining a culture of employee engagement and corporate responsibility. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse workplace where employees from all backgrounds can thrive and contribute their unique perspectives. We will regularly review, revise, and publicly share our commitment, policies, and practices regarding our workforce.

Double Materiality
Assessment

We conduct and update our double materiality assessment when needed to identify and prioritize key sustainability topics within our company.

A materiality assessment evaluates which sustainability issues across Triumph’s upstream, operational, and downstream activities are most critical to disclose in our non-financial reporting. It focuses on two key dimensions:

  • The positive and negative impacts Triumph has on society and the environment.
  • The sustainability-related financial risks and opportunities Triumph faces as a business.

This type of assessment is now a regulatory requirement under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). We will update our double materiality assessment over time and share the results publicly.

Life Cycle
Assessments (LCAs)

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we plan to conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) to measure the environmental impact of our products.

LCAs allow us to evaluate the entire life cycle of a product—from raw material extraction and manufacturing to use and end-of-life disposal—highlighting areas where we can reduce environmental impact.

This helps us identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions that drive positive change — our roadmap and commitment to adopting comprehensive LCA methods for evaluating the environmental footprint of our products.

Our roadmap for LCAs includes assessments to prioritize high-impact products such as bestsellers. We aim to integrate LCA findings into product design processes, ensuring sustainability is a core consideration when developing our products. By 2025, we will understand our products’ impact on carbon, waste, and water.
