We are delighted to share a significant milestone for Triumph: our near-term science-based emissions reduction target has been officially approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), effective 4 June 2026.

What does this mean?

The SBTi is a globally recognized body that validates corporate climate targets against the latest climate science. An approved SBTi target means our emissions reduction commitments have been independently verified as consistent with limiting global warming to 1.5°C.

Our approved target:

Triumph commits to reducing absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 63.0% by 2035 from the 2023 base year. Triumph also commits to reducing absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services, upstream transportation and distribution, and waste generated in operations 63.0% within the same timeframe.

These are absolute emissions reductions, meaning we commit to actually cutting our greenhouse gas emissions, not simply offsetting them. This covers our own operations (Scope 1 and 2) as well as key parts of our value chain, including materials, manufacturing, and logistics (Scope 3).

What happens next?

This near-term target covers the period to 2035. It is the foundation of our broader climate ambition.
